NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE FORFEITED TO MERCER COUNTY FOR DELINQUENT TAXES

NDCC 57-28

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the following real estate has been forfeited to the County of Mercer, State of North Dakota, for delinquent taxes; that Mercer County has taken tax deed to such property and will offer it for sale at public auction at the Office of the County Auditor in Mercer County on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am CST.

The Minimum sale prices were approved by Mercer County Commission on October 15, 2025 and the Public Hearing is set for November 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the boardroom of the Mercer County Government Center in Stanton, North Dakota.

According to NDCC 57-28-19, some cities have the first option to purchase property; therefore, some parcels may not be listed at sale time.

Each parcel of real estate will be offered separately and sold to the highest bidder thereof, but not for a sum less than the minimum sale price.  The purchasers will be required to pay cash for all parcels of real estate.  This sale will continue from day to day until completed.

REAL PROPERTY, FIXTURES, AND STRUCTURES ARE WITHOUT WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION.

As a material part of the consideration for this Agreement, Seller and Purchaser agree that Purchaser is taking the property “AS IS” with any and all latent and patent defects, and that there is no warranty by Seller that the Property is fit for a particular purpose.  Purchaser acknowledges that it is not relying upon any representation, statement or other assertion with respect to the Property conditions, but is relying upon its examination of the property.  Purchaser takes the property under the express understanding there are no expressed or implied warranties.  The Purchaser hereby assumes all the risk associated with the Property.
